Creating Video Management System Accounts and Adding Body Camera Devices

    1. Video Management System Platform ​ (CMSV6) Overview
      CMSV6 serves as Shelleyes’ dedicated Video Management System Platform for managing our body camera ecosystem. This integrated solution enables live streaming, GPS tracking, PPT functionality, and backend administration when used with our body-worn cameras.
    2. After Received Body Camera（4G）, what should the user do?
      To ensure the best user experience, users must contact Shelleyes to set up their own local CMSV server software (this requires assistance from an IT engineer to open the router ports).
    3. After deploying the CMSV server, how can the user create an account and add devices?
      The following guide outlines the steps for creating a CMSV account and adding devices, along with key points to consider:

         I.        Creating a New CMSV Account

    First, users need to access the video management system​ (CMSV6) web-based backend.

    Access CMSV6 web interface:
    http://[Local_IP]:88/808gps/login.html
    or
    http://[Local_IP]:8080/808gps/login.html

    Step 1:

    Upon accessing the web-based backend, users can log in using the default CMSV account and password provided in the “Read Me” text document included in the CMSV server setup guide. After logging in,click on “Operation” to enter the organization management interface.

    Step 2:

    Once in the organization management interface, click on “Information Mgt” → “Company” from the sidebar on the right. Then, click “Add“

    Step 3:

    In the “Add” page, fill in your chosen details for “CO.Name” and “PW.” The “Superior Company” option allows for hierarchical account creation if needed. The “Police Add Remove Permissions” option can be enabled depending on the user’s account level. Once done, click “Save,” and the new account will be created.

         I.        Adding Devices (Body Cameras) to the New Account

    Step 1:

    Go to “Information Mgt” → “Police” from the sidebar.

    Step 2:

    First, select the account to which you want to add devices.

    Step 3:
    Click “Fast Add” and input the Device ID of the body camera in the provided field. Then, select the account (or organization) to which the device will belong.

    Finally, click “Save,” and the body camera will be successfully added to the selected organization.
