Ambarella H22 is one of popular CPU for body cameras. It support ThreadX and Linux operation system. Most of body camera company use ThreadX. Here is some key features of CPU.

CPU: Quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU, suitable for advanced analytics and computer vision tasks.
Video Processing: Supports up to 4K video recording at 60fps, with H.264 and H.265 (HEVC) encoding capabilities.
Image Stabilization: Offers 3D electronic image stabilization (EIS) with 6-axis correction, including translational, pitch, yaw, and roll, along with shutter correction.
High Dynamic Range (HDR): Supports multi-exposure HDR capture up to 4Kp3023.
Wireless Connectivity: Includes options for WiFi streaming, USB host for 4G module connectivity, and DMA UART for Bluetooth module connection.
Dual Processing Pipeline: Designed for drone optical flow, 360° cameras, and other multi-sensor applications.
Low Power Consumption: Fabricated using a 14 nm process technology to minimize power consumption while maximizing performance.

"Although it is a powerful chip, ThreadX is a system based on a real-time operating system (RTOS). The system is relatively closed, and when encountering bugs, it often requires assistance from the chip manufacturer to resolve issues because the source code for the underlying parts is typically not made available to manufacturers."
