CMSV Account Level Description

Overview

The CMSV platform classifies user accounts into three levels:

  1. Admin (System Administrator)
  2. Company Main Account (Company Administrator)
  3. Regular User

Permissions are determined by both account level and role management.

1. Admin (System Administrator)

  • Permission Scope: Full control over the entire system with all permissions.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Create company accounts
    • Manage all companies and users
    • Server management
    • Assign body camera add/delete permissions
  • Key Feature: Highest-level account, typically managed by the platform operator.

2. Company Main Account (Company Administrator)

  • Creation Method: Automatically generated when a company is created. Each company has only one main account.
  • Default Permissions:
    • All permissions except adding body cameras and server management
    • Can create regular users and assign permissions
  • Body Camera Add/Delete Permissions:
    • Not granted by default
    • Must be enabled by Admin via the “Body Camera Add/Delete” option in company settings
  • Key Feature: The highest-privileged account within a company, responsible for managing all regular users and resources.

3. Regular User

  • Creation Method: Created by the Company Main Account.
  • Permission Control:
    • Managed via Role Management
    • No body camera add/delete permissions by default
    • If the Company Main Account has body camera add/delete permissions, it can grant this to regular users via role management
  • Key Feature: Highly flexible permissions, adjustable based on job requirements.

Key Points

Admin: Highest authority, manages the entire system.

Company Main Account: Second-highest authority, manages internal company users and resources.

Regular User: Flexible permissions, assigned according to roles.

Body camera add/delete permissions: Controlled by Admin for the Company Main Account, and by the Company Main Account for regular users.
