DC Barrel Jack is a commonly used DC power connector, widely found in security equipment, charging docks, and various electronic terminals. Known for its simple structure and ease of use, it offers stable power delivery and strong durability.

In the Shelleyes body camera system, the DC Barrel Jack is primarily used for:

  • Providing a stable power input to the docking station, ensuring reliable charging and data transmission for multiple devices simultaneously.
  • Working with external power adapters, making it well-suited for long-term, fixed deployments.
  • Serving as the power input method for Shelleyes' all docking stations (e.g., DS01, DS04, DS12 etc.), ensuring continuous power supply to all USB ports and maintaining stable data upload performance.

Thanks to its reliability and versatility, the DC Barrel Jack has become the standard power supply solution for most stationary docking stations.
