DEMS USER
Overview
The User Management section in DEMS (Digital Evidence Management System) allows administrators to create, edit, and manage user accounts. This module ensures that each user has proper authentication, defined roles, and assigned devices. It also manages user permissions, photo identification, and data query access.

User Info
In this section, administrators can input and update user-related details:
- User ID: Unique identifier for each user.
- Password: Login credential for system access.
- Device ID: Assigned device number associated with the user.
- Name: User’s full name.
- Department: Department the user belongs to.
- Organization: Organization the user is part of.
- Photo: Optional photo (300*300px recommended) for user identification.
User Role
Three roles are available in DEMS:
- List of Users: Standard user with limited access.
- Department Manager: Manages users and devices within the department.
- Admin: Full control over all system functions and configurations.
User Management
- Add User: Create a new user account with corresponding details.
- Add Device: Link a device to a user account.
Permission Settings
User permissions can be customized by enabling specific options:
Tag: Mark important evidence or files.
Delete Data: Allow deletion of stored evidence.
Report: Generate and export reports.
Export: Export selected data for external use.
Software Settings: Access and modify system configurations.
Query Options
The system allows administrators to define the scope of data that a user can query:
- Personal Data: User can only query their own data.
- Department Data: User can query data within their department.
- All Data: User can query all data across the system.
Action Buttons
Located at the bottom of the User Management interface:
Delete: Remove a user from the system.
Add: Create a new user account.
Modify: Edit details of an existing user.
