Does DEMS support all body camera?
DEMS primarily supports Shelleyes series body cameras, especially the following models compatible with Cam Manager software:
- S3 series
- S4A / S4B series
- S7 series
- S8 series
- S9 series (supports facial recognition)
- S29D helmet camera
When used with DEMS, these models support automatic device recognition, data import, user information synchronization, and have stable compatibility. They are recommended for priority use.
For third-party body cameras not from Shelleyes, DEMS has certain compatibility capabilities but must meet the following conditions:
- The device supports disk mode, meaning it can be recognized as a removable drive when connected to a computer.
✅ If the device meets the above condition, DEMS can attempt to support its file management functions.
❌ If the device cannot be read as a data disk after connection (e.g., requires special drivers or only supports encrypted transmission), DEMS cannot manage its data.
To evaluate compatibility of third-party devices, it is recommended to contact the Shelleyes technical team for remote testing and technical confirmation.
