How do to upload and store videos?
Shelleyes body-worn cameras support multiple methods to upload and store videos to designated platforms, meeting both local and remote deployment needs.
Upload Methods:
- USB / Docking Station Upload: Connect the device to a computer via USB cable or insert it into a Docking Station; video files will be automatically imported into the local DEMS management system.
Storage Location Configuration:
- Local Server: Data can be centrally stored on an internally deployed DEMS server for local management and data control.
- Cloud Platform: Supports configuration to upload videos to cloud storage for off-site backup and remote access.
- Wi-Fi / 4G Network Upload: Models with wireless connectivity can upload video files via Wi-Fi or 4G to Shelleyes’ proprietary VMS video management platform for remote centralized management, real-time dispatch, and evidence backup.
Note: This function requires the Shelleyes VMS platform and is not compatible with third-party systems.
Users are advised to select the appropriate upload method based on network conditions, deployment mode, and management needs, and can consult Shelleyes technical support for configuration assistance
