How Does the Alarm Function Work?
Function Overview
The alarm function of the CMSV platform is designed to send real-time alerts to the command center during emergency or abnormal situations, enhancing remote supervision and emergency response efficiency. Once an alarm is triggered, the CMSV6 client immediately displays a pop-up notification and logs the relevant information in the system.
Alarm Triggering Methods
Depending on the model of the body camera and system configuration, alarms can be triggered through the following methods:
- Manual SOS Alarm
- Press and hold the SOS button (3s) on the device to instantly send an alarm signal to the CMSV6.

- Simultaneously, the device will automatically upload live video and GPS location information.
Alarm Display in the CMSV6 Client
When the platform receives an alarm:
- A pop-up alarm alert window will appear in the CMSV6 client interface;
- Users can enter the “Alarm information” from the main interface to view all alarm records;

- By clicking on an alarm record, users can view live video, historical footage, or map positioning.
Alarm Information Includes:
Real-time location information (GPS must be enabled)
User name
Alarm date and time
Alarm type (e.g., SOS, motion detection, geofencing, etc.)
