How to Enable AES256 Encrypted Video
This section explains how to enable the AES256 encrypted video recording feature on the camera. This function ensures the security of recorded files and prevents unauthorized access or tampering.
Prerequisites
- Installed Cam Manager management tool
- Installed createRSATool utility
- A data cable to connect the camera to the computer
Steps
1. Enable AES Function on the Camera
- Connect the camera to the computer using a data cable.
- Open the Cam Manager management tool.
- In the camera settings interface, locate the AES function option and enable it (see illustration).

2. Write the Encryption Key
After enabling AES, you must write the encryption key using the dedicated tool.
- Make sure the camera is connected to the computer.
- Open the createRSATool software.
- Click the “Write” button to write the encryption key into the camera.
- Wait for the prompt “Write successful” (see illustration).

3. Complete Encrypted Recording Mode
Once the above steps are completed, the camera will enter AES256 encrypted recording mode. All newly recorded video files will be automatically encrypted to ensure data security.
