Is the body camera waterproof?
Some Shelleyes body camera models are splash, water, and dust resistant. They have been tested under controlled laboratory conditions and certified with an IP67 rating under IEC standard 60529. These ratings indicate resistance to limited dust ingress and temporary water immersion under specific conditions.
Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent features. Resistance may decrease over time as a result of normal wear, accidental impact, or improper handling.
Do not intentionally submerge or expose the device to water outside of certified test conditions. If the body camera becomes wet, ensure it is completely dry before charging or using accessories.
Liquid damage is not covered under warranty, especially if it results from prolonged submersion, damaged seals, or improper use.
