Length of Video
The Length of Video feature allows users to set the duration of each video segment recorded by the body camera. This ensures flexibility for segmented recording based on actual needs while avoiding storage and processing limitations.
Feature Overview
- Set Recording Duration:
- Through Cam Manager, users can configure the duration of each video segment. Common options include 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes, and 30 minutes.
- After reaching the selected duration, the device automatically creates a new video file and continues recording without interruption, ensuring seamless footage capture while preventing overly large single files.
- Segmented Video Recording:
- By setting segment durations, users can easily review and locate specific time periods in the footage. Each segment is saved as an individual file, simplifying playback and retrieval compared to browsing through one large file.
Continuous Recording (Based on Loop Recording)
- Continuous Recording:
- Using the loop recording feature, body cameras can record continuously for extended periods. The device automatically segments recordings based on the configured duration and overwrites the oldest files when storage is nearly full.
- Smart Overwriting Mechanism:
This feature ensures efficient video management by balancing storage capacity and operational needs while enabling seamless long-duration recording without data loss.
