S3 Firmware Update Instruction

Method 1: Normal Upgrade (Recommended)

In this method, the firmware package is placed directly onto the microSD card. The device will automatically detect and execute the upgrade during startup.

Steps:

Connect the S3 device to a computer using a USB data cable.

Open the device storage path and locate the microSD card directory.

Copy the firmware upgrade package provided by Shelleyes (such as a .bin or .img file) to the root directory of the microSD card.

After copying is complete, safely disconnect the device and power it off.

Power on the device. It will automatically detect the upgrade package and begin executing the upgrade process.

Do not power off or operate the device during the upgrade.

Once the upgrade is complete, the device will automatically restart and enter normal operating mode.

Method 2: Forced Firmware Flash

(Use when the system is damaged or the normal upgrade fails.)

If the device cannot boot properly or fails to recognize the upgrade package, a forced firmware reinstallation can be performed by entering a special upgrade mode.
