TAG Function (Important File)

Function Overview

The TAG Function allows users to mark video files or other types of data as Important Files, making it easier to locate and manage critical recordings.

Key Purpose

• Once a file is tagged as an Important File, the system enables users to quickly search, filter, and retrieve it during file management or review.
• This feature helps users efficiently identify and access key materials among large volumes of recorded data.

Lifecycle Management

• DEMS allows users to set a separate data retention period for Important Files.
• After a customized lifecycle is defined, the retention time of important data will differ from that of regular data, preventing vital files from being overwritten automatically.

Example Scenarios

During case review or internal audit, quickly retrieve all tagged Important Files for centralized management.

Mark incident scenes, emergency events, or evidence-related videos as Important Files to ensure they are securely retained.
