TF card slot (Micro SD card slot)
TF card slot (also known as a Micro SD card slot) is an interface designed for inserting removable storage cards and is widely used in law enforcement body cameras that require local storage capabilities.
In the Shelleyes series of body cameras, its main functions include:
- Expanding local storage capacity to save recorded videos, photos, and audio files;
- Automatically overwriting old files before the storage is full (such as when loop recording is enabled);
- Supporting export of TF card contents to computers, DEMS systems, or other management platforms via USB cable or Docking Station;
- Some models support storage encryption or file tamper-proof features to ensure data security.
The maximum supported TF card capacity varies by device model, commonly ranging from 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, up to 256GB.
