WIFI Function
The WiFi Function in Cam Manager allows users to configure the device’s WiFi connection, ensuring stable operation of the body camera in wireless environments. With this feature, users can easily turn WiFi on or off, enabling the device to connect to wireless networks as needed.
WiFi Switch Configuration
- On/Off Control: The WiFi Function enables users to turn the device’s WiFi on or off. When WiFi is turned on, the device can connect to available wireless networks.
WiFi Band Support
Different Shelleyes body camera models support different WiFi bands, so users should be aware of their device’s capabilities when configuring WiFi:
- 2.4GHz WiFi Support: Some Shelleyes body cameras support only the 2.4GHz WiFi band, meaning they can only connect to 2.4GHz wireless networks—a common standard for many environments.
- Dual-Band (2.4GHz + 5.0GHz) Support: Certain models support both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz WiFi bands, allowing users to choose between standard and higher-speed connections depending on network availability and requirements.
WiFi Settings Management
Configuration and Connection: In Cam Manager, users can easily configure WiFi settings by entering the required network name (SSID) and password to quickly connect the device to the target wireless network.
