How to Download Video from Camera to CMSV6

This section explains how to configure the CMSV6 system so that body camera video can be automatically downloaded to the server via WiFi. Shelleyes provides guidance on CMSV6 server setup to ensure seamless video management.

Steps

1. Create a Download Task

  1. Open the CMSV Client software.
  2. Navigate to Manage → Rule → Rule Maintenance → Timed Task.
  3. Create a download task according to your desired schedule.

2. Assign Cameras to the Rule

  1. Go to Manage → Rule → Assign Rule.
  2. Select and assign specific cameras to the newly created rule.

3. Configure the Download Station

  1. Navigate to Manage → Server → Download Station.
  2. Set a WiFi SSID as the download station.
  3. Once a camera connects to this specified WiFi SSID hotspot, it will automatically upload video to the CMSV6 server.

4. View Historical Downloaded Video

  1. Open the Record menu.
  2. Select Device → Time → File Type → Download Server (Video).
  3. Click Search to view and manage historical video files.

Notes

Ensure that the WiFi SSID used as the download station is accessible and stable.

Only assigned cameras will follow the rule and upload video automatically.
