Why doesn't DEMS upload videos automatically?
When DEMS (Digital Evidence Management System) fails to automatically upload video files from body-worn cameras, it is usually caused by one of the following common issues. It is recommended to check them one by one in the following order:
- Software not running with administrator privileges
DEMS requires administrator privileges to access devices, write to disk, and invoke system services. Please right-click the DEMS icon and select "Run as administrator." - Storage disk space is full
If the computer’s hard drive is full, the system cannot cache or process the uploaded video files. Please ensure there is enough available space on the disk used for storing videos (at least 10GB recommended). - Software not activated or registered
Unregistered software may restrict core functions, causing the software to not recognize the device and resulting in upload failure. Please confirm that DEMS has been properly activated.
